Our original pain relief ointment was created by Aw Chu Kin, who was a Chinese herbalist that worked in the Emperor’s court. After he left China, he set up a small medicine shop named Eng Aun Tong in Rangoon where he sold his special ointment.
Once Aw Chu Kin left the business to his two sons, they brought the business to Singapore and successfully popularised what would become our signature ointment.
