I have had a frozen shoulder for over six months now. I have tried cortisone shots and pills, muscle relaxers, anti inflamatory medications massages and physical therapy. Nothing was working or helping my shoulder. The adhesions would not loosen up and besides being locked where I could not raise it above my waist, I was in severe pain each night while trying to sleep. I purchased some Tiger Balm White due tot he suggestion of a pharmacist for ankle/knee pain I was having and it relieved it. I found out my pain was due to a medication I was on, which I have since stopped taking, but was pleased with the results Tiger Balm gave me during this time.

My dad has had knee pain for years, so recently while home visiting my parents, I decided to pass my Tiger Balm on to him. He has had great success with it. Fabulous product! I learned about it while traveling in the Orient. I use it for headaches, and the relief is within 30 minutes. The headache discomfort seems to just be lifted to the front of my forehead where the discomfort collides with with my eagerness to identify the headache’s location….and then, while I’m concentrating on that….voila! I was traveling in Thailand and suffering from lots of mosquito bites the first time I experienced Tiger Balm. I had heard of it but never tried it myself until I purchased some at my hotel in Phuket. I instantly applied it to my bites and got instant relief. After having unexplained chestpain and back pain for 18 month i was desperate for some relief. After all tests ruled out my heart, lungs and food pipe. I came across tiger balm for the first time while I lived in Kenya. Tiger balm was very effective for back pain I had from an old injury in Switzerland. As expats we move to other countries from time to time. After Kenya my husband was posted in Tanzania. One day going on safari to Ngorongoro crater my husband didn’t see a big depression on the road, the car flew up in the air and when it landed back on the road I suffered an injury to my back, in fact I could hardly move. We were 10h away from any hospital and decided to proceed to the lodge where we stayed 2 nights. I was in terrific pain and was given some pills and cream to rub on. Unfortunately I had left tiger balm at home. When I returned I was considering flying to Europe to have it properly checked and treated but I started immediately treating it with tiger balm. We are now posted in Uganda and unfortunately we cannot find tiger balm here so I have to ask friends to bring it over for me when they travel to Kampala. I suffer with arthritis in many parts of my body, so I have to take a lot of pain relief; sometimes the pain is constant and I use Tiger Balm to relieve the pain in my joints. I used to study in a boarding school in Ellesmere, Shropshire in the late 1970s and 1980s. There was a German nurse there in charge of the sick bay who was in her late 50s.

Bought it in Thailand 7 years ago for mosquito bites, it worked a treat. While on the plane before the 11 hour journey back to the UK I rubbed it in my neck, shoulders and lower back just to see if it could relax me (I hate sitting for long durations) – most comfortable flight ever, not once did I need to get up to stretch. Furthermore, I use it everyday in my Sports Therapy clinic and recommend it to all my clients.

My boyfriend and i use tiger balm almost everyday, he has a bad back and neck , and I bad joints due to lupus, so we go through tiger balm very fast.. We will never use anything else because nothing else works, we have tried. I’ve used Tiger Balm since I was a teenager when Tiger Balm came in very small red containers. When my neighbor who was a Cuban Chinese sold it in his business and he use to give me samples for my headaches and female problems…and I still use today for arthritis acne and pain!!

My job causes me a lot of stress. After a long day in the office, Tiger Balm helps me to loosen my muscles and relax.

My boyfriend and I use Tiger Balm Ultra every day. He has bone spurs in his shoulder and has cronic back pain due to kidneys, I use it for bad back. I’m using the “Tiger Balm Ultra”, I could not find that in the product selection, but here’s the reason:
I am a martial artist, and my shins have been hurting strangely bad, and I just put some on for the first time, and it works amazingly. With a cool/hot feeling.

I have been using this product for over 30 years, I use it for headaches and muscle aches. I have never found anything that works as well as the Red Tiger Balm. It’s the best and it works the longest. I don’t know what I would do without it.

I was run down by a car in March 2009, that resulted in a broken tibia, unfortunately the bone broke into the knee joint. I enjoy running and participate in 10km and ½ marathons, obviously my knee never fully recovered and I learned to live with a constant “bearable pain”. Every now and then after a tough race, difficult workout or simply because I did not listen to my body’s warning signs and run too much the knee starts hurting with every step I take this means that some medication is needed. TIGER BALM RED helps most of the time.
I tried numerous ointments and sprays with various results, but when I started using TIGER BALM RED the pain relieve came approximately within half an hour and with a second application the next day and some rest usually one day I am ready to run again.

I was first introduced to Tiger Balm red when I was around 13. I started martial arts when I was around 4 or so and we always trained really hard. At around 13 I started switched styles of martial arts (American Kenpo Karate), they lived by Tiger Balm at that dojo. Anyway I used it for many years and told many people about it and all have thought it a pancea. It’s been about 6 years since I’ve used it and there have been many times I should have used it. I had put it in the back of my mind and forgot about it. I recently started working out again after 6 years of little physical activity; I pretty much tried to train like I did years ago. Needless to say I was hurt bad, I could barely walk. I stopped by walmart this morning and purchased two jars, one for me and one for my co-worker. Again I could barely walk, about 1 minute after applying Tiger Balm red to my quads it was as if I never had any pain at all. As soon as my co-worker came in I gave her the jar I bought her. She was complaining of her shoulder hurting; I rubbed it in to her shoulder and with in minutes she was saying it was a miracle cure! She kept telling me how bad it was hurting and how she could hardly move it, and now it doesn’t hurt at all. I have spent fortunes trying to cure athlete’s feet with traditional expensive treatments.
I started applying Tiger Balm Red every evening on clean feet. within 10 days the aspect was already improved and over several weeks the skin is clearing in a way never reached with other treatments.

My husband was suffering from persistent tension headaches for about a fortnight. I often use tiger balm for aches and pains, so offered to give him a neck and shoulder massage using some. After two or three short massages with tiger balm red, his headaches went away completely.
Tiger balm white is also the best remedy I know for stopping mosquito bites from itching.

I suffered from repetitive train injury in the ankles due to walking long distances at speed on concrete paths at work, time off was needed to recover somewhat slowly.
I started using Tiger Balm Red Ointment on the affected areas, within hours I was limber, pain free, I am mobile again! This ointment has taken years off my life.

I play roller derby, which is an extreme contact sport. In tournaments, we are likely to play 5-6 bouts in 2 or 3 days. Aches and bruises are inevitable. Whether I have another hour long game in 20 minutes or 8am the next morning, I know that Tiger Balm’s soothing menthol is powerful enough to get my mind off the pain and on to the next game.

I am a US Paratrooper stationed at Fort Bragg and before I used Tiger Balm I would just deal with the pain associated with landing on the drop zone, and carrying over 55 lbs on my back “not including equipment” for over 18 miles and deal with the pain when I return home. I have been doing this for the last 6 years and as a paratrooper, it doesn’t stop with our airborne operations. We continually beat our bodies on Ardennes St running up and down to stay in top shape both physically and mentally training to never give up. I wish I found Tiger Balm 6 years ago because right now I FEEL AMAZING after applying it. I WISH I HAD A SWIMMING POOL FULL OF TIGER BALM so that I can jump in it every day. If you are a soldier you know what I mean. If your not a paratrooper, you fully don’t know what I mean, and if your a RANGER!!!!! Just rub that tab and you’ll be fine. lol.

I’ve been using Tiger Balm since I was 18 and just starting Karate. My Shihan knew I was having trouble with my knee and gave me some of his to use. I’m now 41 and still using it after my Air Force PT. It’s hard to keep up with the youngsters but TB makes it easier.

I play in a sport called rollersoccer. Yes read it again soccer on skates. In the international tournaments I play goalie for team usa and take a number of falls! Add in my knee, 2 acl replacements, Tiger Balm helps ease the pain! Before games it helps loosen me up so I don’t think twice about that diving save. I talked my husband into purchasing this ointment in place of his usual icey/hot. He suffers from disc pain in his lower back. Pain meds and muscle relaxers gave him minimal relief. He now swears by Tiger Balm.

I have been using Tiger Balm since I began training in martial arts in the late 80’s. It is absolutely the only thing I turn to after the aches and pains of training start to show. I use it for any muscle and tissue pain period. After a night of intense sparring, (especially when training for Tae Kwon Do tournaments) it is the only thing that assures you that the next day you will be able to walk and function. There is no equal. Period!

I originally used it for restless leg syndrome & then in later years I started getting deep cramps in the top of my feet and by my Achilles heel. Tiger Balm Plaster (cool) is cooling. It helps me with my backache and it works for several hours. I love it! The adhesive is helpful, and the cooling effect is immediate. I’ve used other brands, but this is the best.

I am a tri-athlete and after every marathon I suffer from muscle aches. Having used many other types of other medicated plaster, I prefer using Tiger Balm as it has been more effective in providing fast-relief as compared to other medicated plasters. Its adhesive plasters are also easy to stick and remove without experiencing any pain. Overall this product is very good and I would recommend it to all my other friends.

In December of 2009 I was prescribed a medication for Bronchitis, which I took for 10 days. By the 10th day every joint in my body was causing me excruciating pain. The medicine caused a reaction that caused tendinitis, with the possibility of tendon rupture.

I found a website that concurred that the medicine had caused this condition and that it was very possible the condition would be irreversible. I am very active and was devastated.

I had used Tiger Balm Plasters in the past and decided to try them again, hoping that they might help or reverse my condition.

Before settling out for
my journey to my friends’ house, I had put 2 Tiger Balm plasters on my knees,
both of them. I have bad knees, and because I was wearing Tiger Balm plasters,
I felt NO PAIN in my knees after I was hit from behind.

In the past I was in
another three car collision and I was again the “sandwiched” car only
thing is that time I felt pain shoot up my right leg from the brake pedal and
required orthoscopic surgery, this time I didn’t require anything and my knees

A few years ago, I tried tiger balm for my neck and it worked great gave me soothing relief from the pain. not too long ago i starting feeling pain in my right shoulder, it was painful. I’m a young competitive bodybuilder for men physique. Day in and day out of constant training. I had a motorcycle accident and partially tore a muscle in my left foot. My therapist set it that very day and immediately used Tiger Balm Red on the affected area. That was 20 days ago. Now my muscle has healed and pain disappeared. I went through 4 bottles of Tiger Balm Red. It saved my muscle and took away loads of pain. Coming from India, I used it as a child, but now as an adult and after my accident I swear by it.

I had a wart like growth on the rib area on the right rear side of my body for a long time. It was flat, thick and very dark in colour. If you could only believe the pain I was in, after coming home from work. Almost went to the ER. A friend said come over and have a cup of herbal tea and relax. Her husband came in from his job. (Navy) And said “Bonnieget the Tiger balm…” 25 minutes later I could walk with very little pain ! Next day…I was at the health food store buying the ointment. I am runner who had not used Tiger Balm for several years. But my lower back became painful and stiff at times from years of running. For as many years as I can remember, I have had very bad pain in my neck. As the years have passed, I have been diagnosed with RA and Osteoarthritis. I would like to share with you a positive feedback from my experience. I completed my standchart Full Marathon with a personal best timing yesterday. But this will not be possible without the use of your product. My ITB flare up during the run yesterday. Normally once the pain happens, I will have to give up because it will be very unbearable.

Yesterday, I bring along a few tubes of 5g Muscle Rub which was given in one of the race pack that I received last year. At about 20km, my ITB starts to show sign of pain. I immediately apply the Muscle Rub and the pain went off. But it comes back after a few km. So I constantly apply the Muscle Rub to ease the pain until I finished the race with my personal best timing. I was glad the Muscle Rub was so effective for my problem.

Without the Muscle Rub, I might not even complete the full marathon.

Tiger Balm has changed my life. As a former runner, I always had problems with my IT band, especially near my left knee. I dance on a bhangra team which is a folk Indian dance form. Our practices are quite grueling so we frequently experience muscle pain all over our bodies. Since October 2018, I have knee and lower leg calves pain, and feels very uncomfortable. I have visited both the GP clinic, which prescribed glucosamine, and visited the Chinese physician. The medical visits helped to relieve the pain but not totally. The discomfort continue to affect me till the month of February this year.

I chanced upon a small hex shaped bottle when I was cleaning out at my grandma’s house. I opened and smelled it, and knew it was some kind of pain cream, which I decided to give it a try. It worked AMAZINGLY and I am almost out of the product. NOTHING IN MY LIFE HAS EVER TAKEN MY HEADACHES AWAY LIKE THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Everyone around me, including myself will always apply Tiger Balm on a cold sore for 20 minutes. There will be a mild tingling sensation. The cold sore on the swollen lip will be almost gone the next day. I believe this is due to the ingredients of Menthol, Camphor, Mint Oil and Cajuput Oil in the Tiger Balm. This is an amazing product for cold sores. I would recommend it to everyone.

Have used for years, however I was taken back when I burned my hand on the oven rack and my mum said to use Tiger Balm on the burn… I did and it actually stopped the sting and healed fast. Blown away by this, I just used on my sunburn and it also has given relief, not fully recover but much better. I’ve been using various Tiger Balm products for close to a decade for everything from an overworked muscle, sprains and headaches. Lately, my two go-to products are Tiger Balm Red and the patches for my shoulders and lower back when I’m out paddleboarding or kayaking because they’re just so easy to toss in my dry bag, are non greasy so my grip isn’t affected and they never stain/bleach any of my rash guards unlike other products. People often ask me why I choose Tiger Balm over other products, and it’s simply because it works every time.

I have only just discovered tiger balm recently and just started using it. I am in love with both my red and white ointments, but the red, is by far my favorite.

I can actually feel my muscles releasing tension instantly as this product sits on my skin. Recently, our family, which includes three children ranging from 12 to 19 years old, has all been sick and feeling unwell and hasn’t had much sleep. By the second week, I am still unwell and taking medication. So, I got out the tiger balm and tried it on my forehead for a headache which I had lasted for 4 days. What a relief it has been! The first time I found out about Tiger Balm was when I visited Singapore in 1969 while serving in Vietnam.I went out for drinks at the Malaysian Embassy. After quite a few Singapore Slings I went to the men’s room and the attendant offerd me Tiger Balm to rub on my forehead and temple. It was wonderful and really made me feel better. I’ve used Tiger Balm all my life for minor aches and pains, and even to relieving itchiness from bug bites or allergic rashes. I have always loved it and pack it whenever I’m traveling. I’m visiting my family now and I just gave a jar of Tiger Balm to my cousin, who love the smell of Tiger Balm when I was applying it to a mosquito bite. Coincidentally, later in the evening a case of soda fell on her foot and she is in terrible pain. Good thing that the pain has been much alleviated after applying the Tiger Balm. I believe that the ointment will help her to heal faster.

Thank you for an amazing product that truly works. My husband broke his neck back in 2001 and has been in constant pain because of it. He will tend to experience high level of pain due to the severe nerve damage from this incident. Upon a chance, we managed to try the Tiger Balm and he is in tears of joy that his neck is not hurting. I have been a user of Tiger Balm since the 90’s when it was not well known in the sporting community. I have used the extra strength red for neck and lower back aches. I also went for regular chiropractic adjustments. Even though the clear bio-freeze was recommended, I insist on using the Tiger Balm. Recently, I had been diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. I decided to put some Tiger Balm on the discomfort areas of tightness and pain. Along with warm compress, they are used to relieve the shoulder pain. This is really amazing stuff!

I find that Tiger Balm White Ointment is a wonderful treatment to ease the pain of headaches and migraine. When rubbed into the temples and applied lightly around the nostrils, it really helps to relieve tension and clear the head. I also travel often for my work and I always take Tiger Balm White with me as I find it soothing and relaxing during long flights. I honestly wouldn’t be without that little hexagonal glass container with the gold tiger cap. It has made such a difference to the management of my headaches and migraines.
